Welcome To The Bakers Arms

Dating back to the 17th Century, the Bakers Arms is a pretty chocolate-box Cotswold pub to be found four miles south of Cirencester. Situated within the beautiful Cotswold Water Park, we are also just a short distance from the Thames Path and the Cotswold Way, making the pub a perfect watering hole to rest weary legs, enjoy a well-earned pint and spot of lunch.

We are also conveniently placed in relation to The Lower Mill Estate, from where it is a pleasant 0.7 mile stroll through Somerford Keynes Village to our door.

Our cosy bar has low beamed ceilings and an open, inglenook fireplace. In the warm weather you can enjoy your drinks and meals in one of our two spacious beer gardens. Both are secure and enclosed, one with a children's play area.

Families and furry friends are welcome – this is a country pub after all

At the Bakers Arms are proud to support local suppliers and endeavour to use ingredients sourced within 30 miles of the pub. Luckily, we are spoilt for choice in the produce available to us. We hope that you enjoy your meal.

M & J Seafood of Cirencester - sourcing the freshest fish from local ports, and the world market in a sustainable way, M & J supply all our seafood produce.

A. David - based just outside Bristol, with three generations of the same family in business for over fifty years, A. David supply our fruit, vegetables, salad leaves and herbs.

For reservations of 10 or more we require a full pre-order a minimum of 24hrs prior to the reservation, for Sunday bookings we ask that the menu choices be provided 48hrs prior to the reservation.

We will occasionally ask that large parties secure their reservation with a £50 holding deposit. Where a deposit has been paid in conjunction with a reservation: a cancellation within 24hrs of the reservation will result in the full deposit being lost, all other cancellations within 24hrs of the reservation will be charged at £5 per head.

Reservations that run more than 30 minutes late will incur an automatic cancellation.
